Many species of wildlife have adapted to urban environments. Some of these species include large mammals. A notable example are the Blacktail Deer of the Monterey Peninsula of California. Herds of these deer can be seen on the golf courses along Seventeen Mile Drive, along the Pacific coast. These images are from the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course, north of Pebble Beach.
